It's really heartwarming to know that a horse like Benji (Bob) was so lucky to get such a great second chance in his life. From what I have seen in this video and in the series he got quite a charackter and it seems to be a lot of fun to work with him. I also like the fact that the actors are actually riding the horses and are not doubled for that like it's done in many other shows =)

Druid Cass ...actually I was being sarcastic...i think that the "anti-bit" crusade is extreme.., largely misinformed, and a bit ridiculous. This show is a good example of horses being handled with bits in a very non- harmful way, as with many horse riders who choose to ride with bits in a non harmful way...~

I have no issues with bits, but they used ALOT of leverage bits that are supposed to be 2 reined, every time pressure is added so is a crap ton of leverage and without a curb chain. There were quite a few of very strong bits and if those horses are lazy and very well trained, why do they need such strong bits? Sure, those bots are used professionally but they have the straps and double reined and usually very strong horses. It was a lot of improper use of bits. I saw a lot of high heads, head tossing and fighting the bit. The only horses who regularly were relaxed and on the bit was Bob and Firefly. Raven and especially Elvis did lots of bit avoidance and head tosses.

I'd say a cob cross or something. maybe wamrblood or tb x cob? he looks too chunky to be a purebred wb or tb. he also has a bit of feathering which is more typical of a cob than a wb or tb

Most likely a warmblod of some kind. Mustang (almost no-existing in Europe), Frieser (completely different build and head) and thoroughbred (different build again, he could have some thoroughbred blood, but he is too chunky to be a pure thoroughbred) is not very likely. You have to consider that kind of horses are available in the UK and so most likely a british bred warmblod or a mix between different breeds. You also have to consider temperament and suitability.

It's a story about a girl with family issues moving to the UK for the summer. There she meets a troubled horse who (of course) only she can fix and it's basically their journey together now. It's your silly, stereotypical horse show. It's good if you have nothing else to do or as background noise. Has some enjoyable moments, it's also good if you just like to look at horses. Not much more. Actors can't ride (seriously, no one puts their heels down ever) and it makes some stuff look abusive when it's not and also teaches a couple bad things.

the foam isn't from pulling on the bit it's from working hard. It's like sweating. Ever seen an eventer or showjumper after they come back from a hard ride? even if the rider has the gentlest hands there will still be foam. one of the ponies at the riding school I work at always has foam coming out of his mouth after a ride and trust me beginners have no clue how to even touch the horses mouth.

They made lunging look abusive lol. This show also had Zoe like run and do a small jump in her first or second lesson, disobeying what her lesson instructor was saying. That was extremely dangerous and very stupid. If it's your first/second time ever riding a horse, you should listen when your trainer tells you not to go over a jump. That teaches kids bad things.
