You can get pony carts second hand. Then when you are ready to show, get a beautiful cart with large wheels. Go to some driving shows. They are lovely. I do not know if it continues, but we went to the Walnut Hills driving competition near Rochester, NY. It was the most fun horse and pony driving competition in a beautiful environment.

I have a friend who did the Mustang Challenge. She did really good for her first time and she was hooked! She did it for several years! The mustangs are beautiful and eager to please. You should get one.

I owned a Fjord and several Haflinger horses. My mare died in 2017 at the age of 32. I had her for 22 years.

I definitely loved seeing all the draft horses and the gypsy vanner horses you are on my wavelength because gypsy vanner is my ultimate dream horse brown and white that is what I want but I enjoyed it I hope you can get to some more so I can live vicariously through your vlogs as I live in the u.k so thank you for taking us along with you p.s I would also love to have mini horse to yet another dream of mine one day it will happen

That was fun to watch. When we lived in Colorado, the National Western was one of our favorite events. Amazing and so huge. I never understood why they held it in January when it was cold and snowy but it's a tradition. But rain, sleet or snow, the show goes on. haha. We haven't been to anything like it since we moved back home. :)

Columbus EA is a wonderful event! And I think you would love a Gypsy! Several friends ave them, just so versatile and fun! Plus, they're good minded and gorgeous! I didn't get to go this year, so thanks for the tour! And yes, the shopping is Disney for horse lovers, lol!

My cousin and I have been to Equine Affaire in MA a few times and totally love the experience. I understand how you just want to buy everything including horses. There was a gorgeous QH mare I fell in love with and had to be dragged away before I got too carried away. So glad you posted this video. We will try to go again in November. Have just discovered you and really enjoy your videos. Got a chuckle out of the mistaken gender of Barriers. Please know you didn't need to apologize for that. Great video. Very informative. Was there a nutrition section? Glad they had an assortment of rescue and adoption horses. So much to see. The trailers are off the hook decked out. I wish that there was an equine affaire in every state. Thank you for the video. I'm going to watch it again.

I love watching your videos. They always brighten my day. Also if you ever wanted to do a mustang challenge my cousins former trainer Levi Beechy does them and I am sure he would be happy to give you guidance if needed.

Thank you! I don’t agree with Mustang challenges for myself, but I do plan on getting one some day. I don’t think it’s fair to rip them from their environment and rush a process that should take time (for the animals sake). It’s not in the best interest of the horse, but that’s my personal opinion. Not judging anyone who does! I would do one if it was all in hand work, that way it wouldn’t be rushing the under saddle training. I truly believe in taking my time, and developing trust and a bond first, through time.

I would not dare go there. I would come home with too much. I can’t have a horse so I just hang around and want them so badly. I am very allergic. When I rode my hands turned to alligator skin and my eyes swelled shut. But they are so sweet. When I watch you I just enjoy your love for them.
