Wow, they all did awesome! I've said it before and I'll say it again, your my favorite trainer. You are so calm and gentle with your horses. You take your time to gain trust and a bond with them and you let them be a horse. I just love your training methods and that you care so much for the horses. Jafar was spectacular! I could just imagine how he would do in dressage in his gaited trots. I am falling for this horse and will miss him so much when you finely find a good home for him. Hopefully not for awhile. I really love watching the horses at events like this. Thank you so much!

Oh WOW, I just loved this video, it’s heartwarming to watch, I used to love everything about competing, the preparation, then saddling up for your various events. 😁I felt proud of your students and horses myself 👏😊 you’ve just aced it all round, your students look very professional and ride very nicely. the horses were just wonderful!!! I can’t believe you’ve got such a great herd, top marks for putting soooo much into everything you do. One fun competition my sisters and I used to have a lot of success in (sorry, don’t mean to brag) was called “tip and out” everyone lined up and jumped a single hurdle until they “tipped “ We all rode horses between 15 and 16 hands, even as children and they were natural jumpers so it was a lot of fun. Sometimes it would just be the 3 of us left jumping against each other 🤣 Tons of fun. Thankyou for that very interesting video, loved it. X

Many lifetimes ago now, I rode in a fairly exclusive western drill team. We were very strict about hand positions, etc. Watching Western riders now ... It just seems so strange to see right hands on the reins. When did this trend become accepted?
@freespiritequestrian2 жыл бұрын
Does it really affect the functionalities of steering? There is more than one way to do things and if it works it works. If you only do things with one hand or on one side you develop a dependency and weakness on the opposite side. I believe in being ambidextrous with steering, saddling, bridling, and mounting. ❤️
@jennifermastin71692 жыл бұрын
You do an amazing job with the kids and horses. For some reason I feel like Jafar really needs to work on building his back muscles though. I feel like he has a big dip 😢maybe I’m wrong… don’t want to offend you so please don’t take it that way…
@freespiritequestrian2 жыл бұрын
His back is a genetic trait. I have spent months building his top line, you have no idea how much I’ve worked on building his strength! It’s nothing to do with “building muscles”. You will never be able to reverse his back, as that is the way it is.
@nobitsnoshoes Жыл бұрын
as much as i hate freak'n bits...i do love that i don't see you using copper bits to make the horses drool & slobber. seeing "horse people" that use those evil things make me want to do violence. not that i would ever hurt anyone. shank bits for western? really? smdh.
