I love you Joel Meyorwitz. Such beautiful, simple, open down-to -earth responses. I love the reference to Covid-19 as “a pause”. I wrote down every recommendation, from printer, to 35mm Leica, to the two books. (I’ll add that Ovid’s “Metamorphosis “ was a primary source for virtually every artist, right through at least the Renaissance. You can read one paragraph and get ideas.)

Glad I stumbled on this - Lots of wisdom and experience here and he always talks about the real important stuff - the creative process. I’m inclined to agree with the whole street photography thing becoming very generic, derivative or formulaic these days, which is why I’ve become more interested in other kinds of subject matter. Great video thanks for uploading.

The government mandated lockdown demonstrated to me how much I didnt need people. How much I didnt need the masses. The collective. It also showed me who were sheep and who were human being with minds of their own. I photographed without restraint, no masks, no jabs, no sickness. I'm a pure blood with the independence and self sufficient mindset that resists compliance to the Overlords. If you are rolling your eyes at my post, congratulations, you're covered in wool.🐑 My favorite books of Meyerowitz' are St Louis and the Arch and Legacy.
