Lost a lot of respect for Dennis Aogo. He just wants to enjoy football and willingly ignore the fact that thousands of people died so he can enjoy some games. Very disappointed in him. And yes, some countries need time to develop, but how about giving a country the world cup after the development. Not before. Btw. Football is and was always political. I love football too but putting in above basic human rights is just wrong.

I mean his statement from 8:53 - 10:20 ofc the media started to report negative about this world cup. Because a lot bad things happened. And ofc on this world cup football isn't the focus. You can't ignore what happened. The human rights violations, the discrimination against lgbtq, the thousands of dead people. I mean what what should the media report? "Let's celebrate the world cup and have fun and ignore the fact that thousands of people suffered so you can watch some games"
