Rescue of two Laos moon bears caged for over 15 years

On June 9 we set out to rescue two moon bears, a brother and sister who had were malnourished & had been kept in a tiny cage for over 15 years. On June 10 we reached them and were able to complete the rescue. Please enjoy some highlights from the rescue. The bears will now spend at least a month in quarantine before moving to large enclosures with climbing frames, hammocks, caves, swimming pools, vet care, a healthy diet and enrichment, where they can complete their rehabilitation.
