Reading "Wealth of Nations" I was impressed by the prediction Adam Smith made. He suggested to grant freedom to American colonies and free trade with them. The prediction was that the free trade would dissipate the animosities raise a strong friendship between the two nations, and Amercans will fight as UK allies in future wars. This was fulfilled despite the Independence War. This is what a great theory does: it predicts effects that are measurable and falsifiable.

In every issue, there is two sides of it, pros and cons. Both arguments should be considered and weighted unless there is an existing tangible events that would prove the advantage of one side or argument

There's a ranking, from 0 to 10 on Fraser ranking of Economic freedom. Singapore, hong kong, new zealand (2016) was at the top.
