Congrats on your hair journey. I know it can be exciting and frustrating all at once. As long as your hair is able to be cornrowed you should be fine. You can try individuals with this hair too I'm sure there's a tutorial on that. I h hope you find something you like.

Yasss do it. It's such a time saver. If you want the individual look just do your edges individually and the rest crochet and boom you're done. I just got new ones installed this weekend.

Hi, did you wash it with hot water or cold water? I like that yours isn't so wavy and I want to know if the water temperature matters when straightening out the waviness

I washed them with warm water. I prefer a relaxed look so the longer you wear them the more natural they look with slight waves. But they'll never look outta the pack bone straight lol.

Do you think that dipping them in hot water would resolve the tangling issue?

It might a tiny bit but since these are fibers and it naturally rubs against our clothing creating friction, the tangling will still occur regardless. It's not that bad tho. I just cut it and keep it moving lol. Hope this helps.
