@@RCTommy Did you have barndoor flaps for that crawl or a little less? Or just max possible. Did it just ever want to stall or what, it looks so stable with throttle control and that slow

Maybee the GOAT ( greatest off all times )when it comes to foamis!. 😀 a killer plane when it comes learning new stuff. @@ivan-ywr It's just a mod. Bought a spare canopy from motion and painted the inside of the glass using an airbrush.

Question for Tommy: Where did you get your exhaust nozzle tailcone? Is your Avanti stock or have you made modifications? I sure like your landings. Good flying demo and good camera work.

Thanks 😁 Exhaust is 3D printed (can be found on thingiverse). I printed mine heavy, for cg reasons. The EDF is from a freewing A-10.

Its mostly for looks, but also a neat way to shift the CG a bit further back.

Incredible flying! It is a beautiful plane but I can't decide between Avanti S and the L-39 as my first EDF. 🙂

Thank you! As for first jet, having flown both the Avanti and the L-39, I would say the Avanti is far easier, more predictable, feels lighter, and is generally more forgiving. The L-39 is certainly not a bad option, but it is not as close to an Avanti in skill requirements as some like to claim. In my experience, the L-39 required a fair bit of tuning before it became comfortable to fly. It was a mess at stock cg, tossing a wing and stooping through even the least provocative turns.
