Freewing Zeus/First 8S 200mph foam jet on SMC LiHV batteries!!! Read description!!!

. Trying to keep voltages low enough to interchange between flying on 6 or 8s. We went 206.9 mph on 8s. Now keep in mind GPS can be a little off but according to calculations as these GPS units work, it probably did about 202 real miles per hour. We are hobby enthusiasts and we enjoy going fast while continuously trying and testing new options. I hope you enjoy the uncut/unedited full video. Hey I just got mine and I’m putting a 10s jp fan in it, did you guys have any issues finding a place to mount your esc? Mines too big and I’m worried it’s going to restrict airflow

What is your backup guard exactly an where did you get it,, thanks & nice flight

Thank you sir. Its an optipower backup guard and it plugs right into you receiver. Amain hobbies sells the backup guard. Basically if you loose your esc power for whatever reason. This will still allow you to deploy gear/flaps and have all control surfaces working for a dead stick landing. Kinda like having insurance on your plane. Hope this helps. Thank for watching

No sir we are testing different kv motors at the moment. The Lihv batteries do help that's for sure

@@JohnVHRC if you’re watching the video you’ll notice the pass has already gone by and this was the plane going in the other direction so that you could hear the call out there was nothing going on speed wise while the callout was being called through the radio if that is what you’re referring to. I was traveling back south if you listen in the background at moderate speeds to go do another speed run

Hi, I'm considering whether to buy a normal lipo or lihv Are there any disadvantages of the lihv battery? Is there anything I need to pay attention to?

Not really. The Lihv will intern give you more power and less voltage sag under load. Buy someone try them. I think you will not be disappointed.
