So quick tip if you are new to freeze drying ice cream. We put ours on the tray, and then back in the freeze as we fill each tray. this stops everything from melting so quickly.

If you haven't done fruit yet, I would suggest fruit. I hear that grapes are really good/sweet. Maybe the next time you do ice cream sandwiches you could cut them into smaller pieces (bite size pieces) They might freeze dry more quickly and they should be easier to eat.

it’s best to warm your trays before taking them out or real. It will create condensation and get your freeze dried stuff, wet and then it won’t store.
