Freezing cold and snow but the work must go on. Dropping a tree on frozen lake

Dropping dead trees, in the forest and by the lake. It's cold, lots of snow, Canadian winter is in full swing at the cottage! Fixing the lock and of course beer!
Does anyone know what type of tree this is? Leave me a comment!
The new mic was a bust - there is some crackling sounds in the video (apologies), I tried fixing it with AI so you may notice some weirdness in the audio in some spots. On the hunt for a new mic - any suggestions?

You should probably sharpen that chainsaw chain! It was damn dull! Work smart, don't work harder!

You're 100% correct! That chain was on its last legs, I tried sharpening it and it just didn't want to cut. I swapped it out for a brand new one, not sure if you saw when I was bucking up the tree later, it cut it like butter :)

Never walk in front of cut up tree never put your under cut more than 2/3. Of tree back cut should be no less than 2 inches above your under cut
