Thanks! And how can we reduce the ion-pairing effects if we are going to detect the freezing point of AlCl3?

What do you do if you have two solvents mixed with water. Can you calculate them by their own using blagdens law. Or do you do something else

Wow... potentially first viewer and commenter... I did a sci fair project based off this and then got to cover it in AP Chem. Nice and clear video, btw

According to BOOK there is missing iota ( _i_ ), called van’t Hoff factor so : Δ _Tf_ = _i_ _Kf_ _m_

why is it that the particles of sucrose is still .75?

+holdOn 24 salts dissociate in polar solution, therefore now there are two particlas per 1 salt molecule in the solution. sucrose just remains as one partical

@@glecko9241 But sucrose is POLAR as well ass salts. LIKE DISSOLVES LIKE. The interpretation is that the Organic Compounds (Polar ones) do not behave the same as the ionic salts (electrolytes =Polar) when they are dissolved in a Polar solvents such as H2O (water). The salts dissociate into 2 different ions: cations (+ve) and anions (-ve), whereas, the organic compounds such as sucrose do not dissociate yet they dissolve as one whole molecule into solvent. I wish that clarifies your doubts.
