Freight Shipping Container Train Cars LEGO MOC Electric 9V Town Cargo Storage Greeble Custom Design

These are 2 train cars I designed that carry multiple modular shipping containers that can stack in various ways. The storage containers are multiple lengths and 4 studs wide. They are primarily brick built, some have shutters that open or tops or sides that are easily removed to open them up. They can be easily removed from the train car and placed on tractor trailer or other small trucks of the classic town era/scale.
These are not intended to be faithful recreations of the actual train cars I often use for reference. As always, I added plenty of greebling to add texture, details and contrasting colors to what would otherwise be a plain and purely functional car. The chassis of the cars is a #2972 Train Base 6 x 34 Split-Level with Bottom Tubes (Undetermined Type) that was commonly used in various train sets released over the years.
