Battery connections and bad batteries is such a common cause of problems that in all honesty it is where you should start the moment you have any odd problem that doesn't have an immediate visible cause. Here is a lesson I learned thirty years ago. Wire corrosion is a lot like termite damage, the termites burrow under the skin of the wood so you can't see them. The way you check is by tapping on the wood for hollow spots. So like this you should forcibly bend heavy wires, if they flex it is okay, if they don't flex they will snap. That is how to quickly find corrosion under the plastic sheath of the wire.

Yesterday, had m2 with dd8 engine shut down on customer while driving. Tech looked at truck but couldn't find issues. I mentioned to him to check pdm cables fuses grounds for loose cables or the such. He gave up. I'll find out if anything was done to that truck. You have great channel Francisco, thanks for pointers

I had same problem last year when I was in San Antonio TX. My dad told me to check the batteries cable first ohh boy they were on loose. So yeahh this is common problem. After that I put locknut there it was the same exact electric cable.

Dude your videos are very good and informational...Keep doing what your doing. I'm getting an (spn 3238, fmi 2 fault code) on my 2015 Freightliner. I'm also getting mixed solutions on the fix when I google it. Some people say it's the inlet nox sensors and some say it's the outlet nox sensor. What's your thoughts?

I wonder if you can patch it with WJ BOND for plastic. I did it on the cap of the wind shield washer reservoir.

@@Amarillobymorning777 i would if I could get to it...it's a 2010 Cascadia, the bottle is tucked up under the firewall on the passenger side, where the only part of the bottle you can see under the hood, is the neck of the bottle to fill it

I had the same issue my truck it was a bad PNDB box located on the firewall where all the air lines connect truck would literally shutdown on the highway running 70mph and all volts no headlights at night very dangerous scenario..After a couple second with my truck being a stick shift it restart itself all bets are off if your truck is a auto shift though you’re probably going to on the side of the road…😳

I had that same issue. Going uphill at night with an OD load. My rear pilot almost ran into me because I suddenly came to a drastic slow down. Truck fired back up rolling.
