Question, you can use 2 pieces of 100w solar panelz total 200w, but the input is only 180w.??
@UlrickWadsonАй бұрын
The two 100 W solar panel can provide 200 W together. But the power station will take only 180 W from them.

On the up side, a 100 watt panel will usually only give you 70-85 watts anyway (it's 100 under perfect conditions, which most of us won't enjoy, most notably me during any power outage unless it happens to be in June). So two together would likely not max the input. There's USUALLY a little overpaneling built into the system as well, and the item can charge limit, so GENERALLY no worries about overprovisioning slightly on the watts input as long as the voltage is in spec, but check the manual and contact the manufacturer for guidance, particularly on cheaper systems. EcoFlow is very forgiving. Fremo? It's at the lower end, so who knows.

Any update on that problem you were having?

They finally reached out and claimed a firmware issue, but they never sent me a replacement to test.

@@thetechieprepper Honestly, it looked like the amperage negotiation with the unit was simply terrible, but did settle down in a few seconds. No huge issue, but extremely annoying for those first few moments....

Can it be used as UPS like the ecoflow??
@thetechieprepper7 ай бұрын
My unit can't be used as a UPS, but it is a few years old. They may have changed/upgraded the capabilities with newer manufacturing runs. Have you tried their customer support? I would reach out to them as they'd have the most up to date info.

Their most recent update claims it can be. I cannot state if this is true.

Hi, Can I use this power station while connected to a solar panel?
@thetechieprepper7 ай бұрын
Yes, it has pass through charging capability.

I have a question about the solar charging for the x700. On their website, it states that the solar input is 180W. You mentioned in the video that you can run the 100w solar panels in parallel (200w). Is 200w input okay for the x700? I was looking to purchase a 200w solar panel from another brand and just wanted to make sure that will be okay to use on the x700. Thank you in advance.

Did you find out the answer.?

My personal experience with solar is that they provide between 50 and 70 percent of rated output in normal eastern US sunny day. A few scattered clouds, moderate humidity, if there's any more cloids than that 30 to 40% is more common. 200 watts of solar won't exceed the 180 w input.
@BronzeDragon13324 күн бұрын
@@charleydog2669 Totally agreed. In Pennsylvania, I might momentarily hit 90% on a beautiful June day, if I'm lucky, right around solar noon. Even there, 200 watts of solar is still 180 watts input.
