I love French pastry ..Its the best of the best ! i been to London , Italy but no places have the best pastry like Paris ....4 Years ago , i was in Paris ..I go to pastry shop every morning and buy barget each day...I just LOVE it. Where i used to live and grow up in Asia Vietnam , used to belong to French colonies, so i am so familiar with all the French stuff. If anyone has never been to Paris ...You MUST go there and see it. The best of the best pastry......No one else have it.

No, don't worry, you would not 🙂 For a simple reason : if you lived here, you would know that you could enjoy pastries whenever you want. So you would not rush to pastries, knowing you would not miss them 🙂 As a French, I buy pastry once a week, not more (even less). No need. Tomorrow, in one week, one month, the pastries will still be there 😉

Your home is lovely Beth and I so want to visit France one day. Your French breakfast is right up my street because I have the biggest sweet tooth and I love bread with butter or jam. My family is German and my mom always had bread with jam or pastry for breakfast. We always had a light breakfast and my mom made our main meal for lunch and then dinner was lighter again. She said this was the European way. Anyway, I could have eaten that Brioche loaf all by myself. I just found your channel and I'm really enjoying it.

Oh! I miss France. I traveled there many many times and stayed long term in Paris once and in the countryside near Limoges. I am enjoying your videos but it is bittersweet. My mobility at 72 is not great. I am not sure if I will travel again. I was lucky to have had a trip to London and Paris in the Fall of 2019 before covid. Your breakfast looks delicious. I also saw your summer dinner party. It looked delightful. All of my friends were French, just did not meet expats. I would never have had the nerve to host a party. I cooked for my friend and some of his family but not a real dinner party. We often met others to go out for meals in Paris. I love brocantes and bought a great chair and lots of wonderful dishes, glassware and linens for my rental apartment. I still have many treasures from France now in my Florida house. Continue to enjoy your wonderful house and life in France. I will be watching.

Good morning Beth. LOVED LOVED your tour of the City for breakfast and the little shops. You passed by a few too quickly, would be fun to visit some of those small shops another time? . It really makes me want to visit. I prefer small towns where you can walk to everything. The peace and tranquility (well except for the seagulls) hahaha.. Your explanations were spot on. Your excitement is contagious. I love to see your garden and outdoor table too! The new furniture is lovely The dishes and table linens are sweet (saw your previous video when you were gifted many of those items). Can’t wait to see your basket wall at the entrance of your home hanging on the wall. Will definitely try setting up a breakfast table and will definitely need to have a list of items/ingredients…. Hello from Mexico where I am totally enjoying my armchair vacation through your videos. The vid with the olives had me doing heavy sighs as there are no good olives to be found here. I just love your enthusiasism about each and every little thing you show us, and you have such a great eye for treasures at the local flea market or thrift stores. I think every culture has that bread soaking thing in the coffee or hot chocolate. My Italian dad used to do it, and my Mexican husband with his conchas y chocolaté. I share your sentiments.
