French Cleat Wall Panel Tutorial! A New Design for French Cleats.

Quick tutorial on how to create our French Cleat Wall Panel design on the @AvidCNC . We also discuss the pro's and con's of this design compared to traditional #frenchcleat methods. Wonderful idea! I've been using traditional French Cleats w/3/4" G.P. or if my customer wants a better look A/C ply. With your product I will be able to offer a much cleaner look and a much shorter install time. This is my first time on your youtube site, I subscribed and will be back again and again. Thanks Pete.

Could I use this for collapsible/ space saving furniture like benches and tables in a caravan if I had like legs also added and not like floating benches/seating?

You could do it with a router. Would just take longer and you might need to make a jig. Smaller CNC’s can make them also. You don’t need a big machine like what’s in our shop.

It might waste a bit if the plywood but it saves a great deal on time a labor which in the end is more valuable than material costs. But if it doesn’t suit your needs then don’t use them. Why try and make that decision for others 🤷‍♂️😂👎
