Holly, a trick a lot of quilters do for printing on fabric is using freezer paper. Iron the fabric on to the wax side using medium heat, make sure it’s completely adhered all the way around. Let it cool, then you can feed it into the printer. Use your fingers to start guiding it in. If you leave it in the tray for the feed to pick up, it’s more apt to bunch up or get stuck. So just use your fingers to give it a gentle push when the feed starts to pick it up for printing. Hope that helps 😁

I love every craft in this video too! It's difficult these days to find metal coffee cans though. I've got to keep looking, I guess, since all of the coffee cans (?) I see at my local grocery store are cardboard. And the scrub board...I remember my grandmother using one as well as boiling water for her laundry in an old iron kettle over an open fire. People have no idea how easy they have it these days. But to me, those were the "good old days". Just thinking these thoughts brings back such feelings of nostalgia. Yeah, I'm old, but I still love to craft and watching your channel is always a joy.

Try stretching some plastic wrap over your printable, then smooth it. It works fabulously!! I sell so much of my decoupaged work, and use it each time. It’s a fabulous technique. ❤️

I love all of these crafts but especially the coffee can and the washboard. The depth of color on the coffee can is amazing. I wish now that my mother had kept my grandmother's "washer" it was a basin with the washboard and wringer attached. It sat in our basement when I was a child but unfortunately did not come with us when we moved.

I like the glue tape for sewing as well. I use that a lot, just because I don't feel like getting my sewing machine out. It is a very strong bond, even in the washer.

You NAILED every single one of these diy’s that coffee can one though 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️ I LOVED that! I have a printer but have noooooo clue how to use it 🥴 my brother in law hooked it up once, then I had to move it for some reason to another spot so I had to unplug it, weeeelllll let’s just say I never got it right after that 😩 even he bought me a new charger and tried setting it up AGAIN and something just wasn’t right with it so anyhoo.... I use an actual graphite pencil to color the backs of my images and the outcome is SHOCKING I have a black one and that changed my game completely!! I too have an old washboard hanging in my bathroom and I’ve made a mini to “go with it” I’ll have to PIN you some stuff, I’ve been busy!!!! Thanks for the inspiration 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️
