New Ferrari strategy: 1) develop engine that doesn't catch fire 2) win all the races 3) score points more often 4) stay within track limits as delineated by tyre barriers 5) prepare race strategy before race weekends 6) let the engineers watch race on TV 7) educate team members about basic terminology This will surely give Ferrari the edge they need going forward. Surely it would be: 1) "Be in it to win it" - Race in F1. Drive a F1 car, around the track. On the track. In the right direction. Our car colour is red. 2) "Cross the finish line" - Finish the race. Cross the finish line on the final lap. Of the F1 race. In a car, our red car, that is working. 3) "Racing is a team sport" - Behave like we are a team (even if we pretend...), one day we can learn about racing and F1 teams! Fun! 4) "Finishing first is the ultimate goal" - our best measure of success is when our cars, with our drivers in them cross the finish line before all of the others at the end of the race. We know that number 4 is very difficult to understand, and even harder to do. But, we have seen it done in "racing", and think that this is what it racing all about. If you have any questions about racing, or F1 (Formula 1) in general, please reach out to your team "Ferrari"! You will know who we are, because we wear the colour red and our cars are red too! They will share with you videos called "Chain Bear" on the internet, where racing and F1 is explained for you. It's very fun, we will also provide you with snacks and crayons that are red safe to eat. Yum!

A thorough roasting in disguise. I love it. Ferrari team radio is always my favourite. When something happens on track that forces a decision or warrants a question being answered, most of the teams have a quick answer for the driver, or if the driver does challenge them, they have the response prepared to tell the driver that they're wrong and to get their head down. But with Ferrari, every single time, the engineer will say "Checking, we will get back to you", then they get back on the radio with an answer they're only half-committed to. Carlos is more likely to challenge the team's decision, and he often ends up having to make the decision for himself. They really sound like they have no clue what they're doing. Of course someone at the team must know the correct call, but for whatever reason it doesn't end up being the call that gets made. The team is so full of indecision, secrecy and 'holding face', it hurts them time and time again. Sitting at home, I saw the team radio from Carlos suggesting he pits with what, 15 laps left? That might have given him enough time to catch up and pass on fresh tyres. So many little aspects of their strategy just didn't make sense in France. It was really like their strategy team was watching a totally different race.
