In this French Simple Negations // La Négation // French Grammar // French For Beginners And Kids video, we start off by learning what is a French simple negation. We review the different parts of a sentence (watch the video on that, the link is above), what a verb is and how to find it in a sentence. With Dex's help, we practise looking for verbs and then inserting NE and PAS on either side of the verb to render the sentence in it's negative form. Then, in this easy to follow French Grammar, French for beginners and kids video, you'll have a chance to practise what you learned

Les négations simples
*je ne fais pas (I do not do)
*je ne suis pas (I am not)
Qui (who) - c’est un nom (a noun) - une personne (a person), une place (a place), une chose (a thing)
Fait (does) - un verbe (a verb) - un mot d’action (an action word)
Tomber (to fall), Sauter (to jump), Chanter (to sing)
Quoi (what)
Je suis Monsieur Steve. (I am M. Steve.)
Je ne suis pas Monsieur Steve. (I am not M. Steve.)
Le chat mange un poisson. (The cat is eating a fish.)
Le chat ne mange pas un poisson. (The cat is not eating a fish.)
J’ai un chat sur ma tête. (I have a cat on my head.)
Je n’ai pas un chat sur ma tête. (I do not have a cat on my head.)
Le garçon chante une chanson. (The boy is singing a song.)
Le garçon ne chante pas une chanson. (The boy is not singing a song.)
La fille est triste. (The girl is sad.)
La fille n’est pas triste. (The girl is not sad.)
1. Trouver le verbe (le mot d’action) - Find the verb, the action word
2. Ajouter NE et PAS autour du verbe. C’est comme ils donnent un câlin à le verbe! (Add ne and pas around the verb. It’s like they are giving a hug to the verb!
