What a delightful story, so enchanting; I managed to understand parts of it, but was such joy to translate from the script. Sadly one of our 7 cats went missing a few months ago. He was a stray cat known to roam about. We called him I.O. He came to us about a year ago and it was several months ago he came badly hurt while I was away working. My brother and I; we took him to holistic vet. It was wonderful to see him back to his usual self, they gave us big cage to keep him in, and to save him moving about too much while he got better; but have no idea where he has gone this time. Cats sometimes get into people's car and might get let out miles away. We do miss him, just hope he has found happy home like, "gros Baloo" had done on the fam. Our vet lives on a farm. We should have left him stay there and paid them to look after him.

I keep meaning to share your lovely story with my brother, but he is too upset over us losing IO. Take care not to take sweeteners, Aspartame for example many doctors, researchers and scientists believe it is king of toxins. The manufacturers of soft drinks now call it by other names because more and more people have come to know of it. It can cause many health issues...there is loads about it on the internet, it's fine to read about it but I wouldn't get to bogged down with it. Especially not good idea to consume it while pregnant or anytime really. Not easy to avoid it these days as it's put in foods and medicines as well as soft drinks. God bless Cindy. XX

I understood all of it, but there were turns of phrase that wouldn't occur to me, such as "quelle ne fut pas la surprise. ..", what was not the surprise, or less literally, imagine the surprise of my parents. I'm still learning! But... un chat n'a pas de maître, il a un servant!

Before I read others comments..I am a beginner, it looked like your parents were traveling, they had their dog. They found a cat that had been injured(by a car?) His leg and or arm was injured. ...Before I make a fool of myself I stop here. Lol
