Or helps in other ways. Schools are crazy with the LGBT ideology in some many places now. Places you'd never think West coast and big city garbage is typically found. Where my niece started middle school this year in super small town Maine they've had to fire 2 female teachers for pushing little 13 year old girls to be boys(who were just tomboys who happened to be mildly autistic from what I've gathered). One was a FT teacher the other a new teacher aid not quite a full on teacher from what I gather. Both had given girls chest binders and were talking to them in secret outside school. Luckily their moms found the binders and flipped. And to add, many don't get how dastardly those chest binders are for girls and women. Within a short period of time they can cause cists, breast cancer, deformation and ruin their ability to breast feed a child. And the last one the crazies would argue they don't want to be girls anymore but the fact from at least two credible studies show that a vast majority of kids who say they're trans or gender neutral go back to being normal not too far down the road. So robbing that from a future mother makes it more awful than most think. Just like with puberty blockers and how the activists and LGBT ideology pushers lie and say they can just "go off the hormones and then have puberty"(they can't, it doesn't work like that)it's all at it's core and all it's arguments are based off of those lies. It's child abuse to a whole new degree. Some do it for ideology, then there's the ones I think there's creeps who enjoy ruining young people or people in general and then there's the ones making the new medial procedures and meds being used off brand to the tune of many billions. Lifelong patients once they take a big enough step into it.

When I first read of this case, I was astounded that it happened in West Point, as opposed to in one of the loony-tunes suburbs of DC. I'm an atheist who shares gender critical views. I don't think the gender critical side of the debate should be giving a religious objection. It should be giving a secular one because there are people like me, though admittedly not in large numbers, who don't need a god in order to reject any ideology. The ideology, on its merits and effects alone, is worthy of our criticism. I agree no one should be compelled to speak in a way that is wrong. I've been faced with those that violated all such things. All the way to being told of i will just say i never taught my own child under the age of 18 free of charge then they'd make it all just go away. Terrible stuff when not only freedom of speech is violated such as one will not use this or that word in business portions of freedom of speech but worse when one tries following the ten commandments as a life principle, demonstrate such to their own children. And are told no you must lie or be unfairly and unjustly fined degraded and punished. Following honor thy mother and father in the original context of families mentored their own in family businesses such as farming etc to pass on generations of work and whats just. It is said by some arguing over simple vocabulary such as the words and the words or or the words any combination of usually occurs before great downfalls of great society's. So it is imperative children learn sticks and stones may hurt my bones but words will never hurt me. Otherwise victimization is not only perpetuated but utilized as a reversing of educational material that gives all a basic foundation and guage of things to come. Glad common knowledge and common use of language was addressed. My hopes for the youth you interacted with is they find their confidence not in controlling others words and if not harming children and others wirh that but in confidence in whom they are as they mature.

But would that solve it? I see it as a mental illness issue. Courts can have their role in people going into therapy or whatever treatment programs, but I don’t know if separating child from parents ultimately helps the child?

In a Georgian language, there is no masculine and feminine gender at all. What if in English everyone would be called "it" and "they" only for plural"? Would it help everyone and many problems would be just gone???

I think we should start saying things like "this human" for ourselves, and "that human" for others. Might actually beat into some thicker skulls that we're ALL human... I saw that in a sci-fi book years ago, and I think it has potential.

To @DemocratsUnite: If it’s none of the teacher’s business - if the student is a boy or a girl -then why get so upset if he (the teacher) does not want to use pronouns to refer to this student? In addition, the teacher did not determine if this student was a boy or a girl, this student did. However, the teacher would not go along with the ignorance of this student, and the lie that this student was determined to make him (the teacher) acknowledge by using the incorrect pronouns (he, him) for this student’s sex (which remains female). She can pretend to be a male. She can have her body parts cut off, and take hormones, but that will NEVER make her a male. Her DNA is female. She will always be female.
