I came on here this morning in hopes to finding my mother's annual Christmas Breakfast. She makes this every Christmas morning for me, my son and his dad. She passed away in March from cancer wich stunned us all and has me all messed up. I wanted to thank you for uploading your recipe because this is sooooo close to hers..Now I know what to do...I have gone through several and yours is def the closest... Again Thank you....

Going to try This … challah bread is best for French toast 👌🏾 but definitely substituting that white sugar for “ low glycemic “ coconut sugar… love that heavy cream idea 💡 instead of almond milk fOR a creamy custard

I have been looking for a good french toast recipe and at first I thought yours was going to be just another normal recipe. But then you stepped it up, I don't even drink alcohol and have never tasted Cognac (I had to look at how you spelled it), but I do love things with rum in it so I'm not against alcohol, I just don't drink it. I don't like the feeling it gives you. But I saw that sauce and said; this is it. that looks like it just sets that off. Thank you for the video.

I made this a few weeks ago, but could not find Challah Bread so I used Brioche. It turned out OK but definitely think 5 cups of cream is too much (there was too much custard mix for the bread). I will make this again though. Next time I'm going to try finding Challah Bread and use less cream for the custard mix because it was still too moist after cooking, and couldn't cook anymore or the outside would have burnt. Looking back at the video it looks like you might have only used 2 cups of cream but the recipe said 5 cups. Any suggestions for other types of bread if Challah Bread is not available?
