French Visas & Residency: How to Move to France

Hi guys thank you! If you have been living in the Americas (central, south etc), are you able to apply from that country as a British citizen for a French long stay visa? Or do you have to apply from your country of citizenship? Thank you again for any info.

Because they take your passport for the 2-4 weeks while processing the visa, you have to be in a country where you have residency, somewhere that you would be all right not carrying a passport.

Hello.question Regarding visa VLT_TS approval is it done by the agent at the appointement day witch is VFS global here is Los Angeles or the Frenach embassy in washington dc .THank you
