My dad, now deceased, renovated a home in the Dordogne called Chez Shean. It was a labor of love. An old barn became a two story cottage with wonderful backyard views. I visited in the 90's. Sadly, he became ill and had to sell to return to America. I still remember this wonderful part of France and regret that he sold his dream home.

Oh! Oh! I love this cottage home...so warm and inviting. It truly is an enchanting lovely little house. The only thing I would change is remove the white paint from the joists (wooden structural support on the ceiling). It would give it more warmth and match the wooden beam above the fire place and kitchen window. Now I'm dreaming of staying at this house when I do visit France again 😍
