My 4 year old was holding our door waiting for daddy, he finally got home for the season ... our adult cat (always an inside cat) ran out. Obviously, my 4 year old didn't tell us right away but when she did, my husband, my teens, and myself went door to door looking for him (the cat) .. I couldn't sleep that night, i kept looking out the window. I went down to our family room and put on a movie. I heard this tapping, faint knocking sound on that window. I looked out and there was our cat. My older son had taken the screens off his and our bedroom windows, and we left them open. Our cat must have seen the family room light on. All our animals are chipped also. But thankfully he found his way home. I don't believe ALR at all! She's a lah

I’ve been saying this since yesterday. Kittys adore their mamas and they would never just vanish especially if they are indeed little princess house cats lol. I would never leave my cat to roam the streets as an outdoor cat as it is but I know my cat wouldn’t run off if she got out she would cry to come back into the warm blankets and unlimited food. I struggle to believe she left and didn’t turn back.

I once spent 6 hours straight outside in pouring rain in the middle of the night looking everywhere for my cat. I was at my heaviest weight then and couldn't even stand straight for more than 5 minutes without being in excruciating pain. Amber has no excuse

When my cat went missing I was out at random intervals, even waking up at 2 am hoping my voice would carry further and he would hear me. I printed 300 posters and put them in every mailbox in a radius around my house. I ended up crossing a bigger road, without high hopes but the LAST poster I put in a mailbox called me. He had be😊en wandering around for 2 weeks. I drove there directly, with treats and he came RUNNING. I balled my eyes out as I put him in the car. But for those two weeks I was out 4-5 hours every day. Checking websites obsessively. Going door to door. That’s what you do when your cat goes missing. I feel so grateful and lucky we found him, i can’t imagine what I would have done… Since then I keep an eye out for new cats in the neighborhood, check missing websites and try leaving food out if they seem skinny and lost. In the last 2 years we’ve found 7 missing cats and returned them to their owners ( since they are chipped). It’s wild to me that she isn’t out.

I lost my cat once, she fell out the window by opening the ac vent, I spent all day and night looking for her, did research, most cats when scared won’t answer your calls because of predators. You need to actually look for her, move stuff. My cat hid in a bunch of heavy tires. Get out and look amber!

People are speculating that Emily’s large dog killed Rarity because ALR is speaking past tense. When my cat went missing it was present tense. She showed up a month later. Or Emily let Rarity out in purpose to mind f- Amber. Regardless something sinister is happening is my instinct. Also she should just get a red couch since that was the remedy for “Gracie”

You are right Frenchie. Most cats that accidentally get out are hiding close by because they are scared. I would check in shrubs, bushes, under the deck, under cars. Put beds and litter outside that smell like home She needs to get outside and start looking. She isn’t going to sit in front of the security camera waiting to be seen.

my friend left a door open once and my cat got out. I searched the neighborhood, asked all the neighbors if they could please look in their yards. I sat out all night in a lawn chair, with a coat and was so desperate I had smeared cat food all over the fence, knowing she'd be getting hungry and might follow the scent. around 10pm she came back, and was eating the food I put at the bottom of the fence next to the smeared food. thanked my lucky stars (she was my first cat), and never trusted people to shut the door behind them again. I really can't imagine sitting inside and trusting another person to take care of everything for me. that being said, I hope rarity is ok 🥺

I'm curious how reaction channels first found out about Rarity?? I find it a little hard to believe that some rando was surfing the lost animal notices in Hicktown, Wisconsin and was like "Score! Rarity is missing! To the reaction channels, I go!" And ALR didn't post until later, after it was known by gorlworld anyway.. so to me, it seems like she must have "leaked" the info... for drama? attention? Personally, if it was me, I'd go about looking for the cat but keep it quiet from KZbin knowing the obvious backlash. I really feel like something shady is going on and it's most likely going to be that Tommy magically rescues Rarity to make everyone love her. It was too shady the way ALR was mentioning Tommy and praising her for helping and how Rarity loves her... this whole thing seems more about Tommy than Rarity!!! Rarity also rarely ever made camera appearances anyway, so if somehow things backfired - but she was never really missing to begin with - it would be easy to continue keeping her off camera to keep up the performance and drama/attention!! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had an adventurous cat get out. I was walking in circles around blocks for 3 hours until 2 am. I pondered going under a bridge (to oakland mind you and a huge homeless ecampment on the other side of the bridge) to look for him. I slept on the couch with the front door open in January, hoping he'd smell home. I got up at 5 and went back out to look. I found him 3 doors down. Hiding under a bench on someone's porch. I won't go over the rest because of the no trauma dumping rule but I was not going to rest until I found him. The whole ordeal was terrifying. Not knowing if he went towards a busy street or towards the water. I didn't care about my own safety or comfort. I wanted him to be home. You can't tell me she knows how to love her cat when she's sitting on her couch making videos.

I was just going to post this. Cats generally don’t go far. If they get spooked and bolt off, they don’t run forever. She should set up a humane trap with her blankets and food and check it every hour. You run the risk of catching a raccoon or possum, but you may catch your cat at some point.

My cats were always chipped even though they were strictly indoor cats and were not declawed so they could defend themselves if they did get out somehow (learned to use the elevator) . Something is fishy here, I think Emily/Tom whatever let the cats out to control ALR. Amber is a f*cking idiot, if she stayed in Oklahoma where she belonged, this wouldn't have happened.
