Sam was younger and healthier but he did have matted fur (as well as poor BBJ) and even that sounds like torture. I've had my hair pulled back in a too tight pony and it is horrible - imagine having that feeling all over your body

There are a few reasons why cats throw up. When they are unhappy, if they are allergic to their food, or if they eat to fast/not chew properly (considering how her teeth was...). I would guess it was a combination of many things for bbj, and it pisses me of so much that she didn't try to find a solution for bbj's puking

Poor BBJ. Everything Chantal talked about regarding vomiting, scratching, etc. is probably due to her living in filth. Cats pick up stuff on their fur, feet, etc. that is consumed when they groom. They are some of the cleanest animals and hate living in dirty conditions. BBJ was probably desperately trying to keep herself clean :(. So glad she's safe now.

Not trying to trauma dump, but if my animal loving fries could send good vibes and prayers my pup (12yo had her her whole life) was diagnosed with lymphoma yesterday at her vet appointment. She was given some meds and we will meet with the oncologist this week to get a full look and treatment plan. She's still kicking and acting a fool as usual and is a fighter so as long as she has it in her we will do everything to save her. F chins for what she did to bbj
