Here's a tip to pronounce the 'u' sound. Make the 'i' (French) or long 'e' (English) sound. Then, without moving your tongue make the same sound but round your lips to make the 'ou' sound or a very similar sound is the English 'oo' sound as in boot. She's right that the lip positioning is the same in 'ou' vs 'u'. It's about the tongue positioning. To make the 'u' sound position your tongue the same as if it were the 'i' sound. Et voila!

Thank you for addressing OU vs U! But, I tried putting my tongue between my teeth and it stopped up the airflow! So I have read elsewhere the U is similar to pronouncing "eeee..." while the lips are rounded. Until today, this is how I've been doing it. What do you think of that method?

Agreed, no air (or noise) can come out of my mouth when my tongue is touching my top and bottom teeth :-( I can only make the sound by rounding my lips.

C'est une très bonne vidéo! I do have one suggestion-request about the editing... I like to pause the video at the end of each phrase to study and practice it, but many times the editing chops it off so quick that it's hard to catch. For example, the phrase at 2:02 to 2:04. Can you keep the phrase on the screen for maybe a second after you speak it? I love your lessons, and I'm binging on them this weekend!
