The second Aircraft doesn't have delta wing, meaning it's neither Mirage 2000 nor Rafale, the 1st one I couldn't see. But I'm sure they were Russian Sukhoi Su-30 MKIs, since Tezpur-Assam has an Airbase with Sukhois as lead fighters. Also Sukhois are huge in Size, that's why it looked huge.

they are haystacks, they are heaped as such so that the rain water doesn't seep in to the inner layers, its basically rice hay stored for livestock to be used over a period of time. and used by the local villagers. @frenchy We do have the Rafales but they are stationed in west bengal air bases Those are the IAF Sukhoi-30 MKIs The Mirages are mostly on the western border.

if you are at itanagar & planning to visit *ziro* do stay one night at the river side resort in *iyajali* . you can enjoy the night sitting in a swing bench just on the face of the beautiful river while the moon is reflecting in the water. the roasted pork of that resort is something i never tasted in asssam so far.

Bonjour Pierre!! I live near this place and the fighter jet that you saw is not a Rafalel unfortunately! In Tezpur they have Sukhoi Su-30 MKI, I think it’s one of them. Another funny thing is that the Google map apparently showed you a route which is still under construction. Especially they are still making that bridge and when completed it will lead you to the direction of Itanagar; but Google map seems way ahead of its time 😅
