I wholeheartedly agree. I think there's a healthy balance to be had between dark and light, especially when it comes to making kick-ass music. Too much dark, and you start sounding angry, whiney, or depressed. Too much light, and you start sounding preachy, morally overbearing and evangelical.

I discovered this song randomly. The lyrics are incredibly relatable to anyone who has struggled with addiction, depression, anxiety .. you name it. This song has inspired me to deal with my issues and get my life on the right track. It continues to help me walk towards the light and keep the darkness at bay. I heard Mihali play this acoustic at Pondfest. I had never actually listened to Twiddle before. This song spoke to my soul in such a way that I was openly weeping.
