This is the b-side track of "Without you" 7" single (1982, private) by the British band Frenzy. A fine sample of melodic NWOBHM.

In 1983 I was at Blackburn college & this was one of my favourite songs on the Jukebox in the student union games room. When the time came for the records to be changed, I was offered the 7" from the Jukebox. It's alright I said, I'll be able to buy my own copy from a shop. Finally after 30 years I can hear it again, I never did find it in a shop. Thank you so much for sharing it here :) Live long & prosper, Dog (two potato pies & plenty of Ketchup)

England in the late 70s/early 80s was a HOTBED of killer talent! Punk, post-punk, New Romantics, Mod Revivelism, Oi and NWOBHM! That's why a song this good was only an "also-ran"...

this is a really smart song, I've found this in a NWOBHM playlist, but it's more than that. This is a killer hit

You don't mention the Pawlowski brothers. Frenzy was their band. They wrote the music, arranged the gigs and were the driving force behind the band. Larry was one of the many singers they had. Thanks for nothing was written by Johnny and performed by HIS band.

Larry, y'all were awesome. I'm 26 and from Virginia in America and I'm here to tell you that I don't think there's anything better from the NWOBHM. I've looked and looked and frenzy is the best. I wish there was more by y'all on the internet. All I can find is 'without you' 'gypsy dancer' 'thanx for nothing' and 'this is the last time'
