Frequency is the rate at which the current changes direction every second. Frequency is measured in hertz (Hz), an international unit of measurement in which 1 hertz equals 1 cycle per second.
Voltage is expressed in Volts (V) and the frequency of AC voltage is expressed in Hertz (Hz), the speed at which the voltage alternates. AC Alternating Current (voltage) is what is used in homes and is used for many appliances.
