Frequency Multiplier and Frequency Divider Explained

Frequency Divider and Frequency Multiplier Circuit (from 2 to 100 times) using IC 4017 and IC 4046 (PLL)
The output waveform will be square wave only (used for digital signals) and max. output frequency is 1Mhz.

You are the best, best mathematical circuit dividing and multiplying tutorial ever, specially the information about the addition of the divider to the feedback to multiply it, can you please confirm this to me and others, when you add the divider in the feedback loop, this create new frequency, does combining 2 different frequencies multiply the output frequency or its the alternating change of the frequency cause the multiplication or the 2 statements are true? 😊 Trillion thanks 💙

I remember this circuit was working with maximum frequency of about 1Mhz, so 60Mhz is so high and you can't use it.
