In 2012 When I was in the US Army SOF (Tactical Psyop) my Tactical Psyop Detachment spent 4 months training with 4th ID, US State Department (NGO / Foreign Mercenary / Interpreters/ USAID), to invade and occupy Syria. We totally thought were were going. We didn't end up deploying so we thought it was just another "Lets act as if Scenario". When ISIS happened we were like "Bruh, we trained them for Syria". Then when we learned that the US built a base in Syria it all made sense. US created ISIS to gain international support to illegally occupy Syria.
