wow! Thats a lot of meat for sukuti. In the city, this much sukuti(dried buffalo meat) would cost atleast 15-20 thousand rupees (around $100-200)

washing all that meat would expose it to more moisture which will make the meat go bad sooner. They cook the meat for a long time in an open fire so all germs are killed anyway.
