I think towards 1980, there was a fresh cream cake advert with a load of gossipy women (i think a coffee morning scene...) just gossipy, 'Have you seen her dress ...', 'she has some weight ....' and everyone in that group came under scrutiny, it was so very funny. The ending had a mans voice saying ... 'Fresh cream cakes ... it's a scandal....' (or something like that.) I am trying to find that advert as it is SO valid - even in Sweden where I now live ....
