The issue is not that they “don’t date black women”. Black women don’t care if you don’t date us. That just means you aren’t for me. But let’s stop the cap. The clip was never taken out of context. They literally said that they don’t date black women due to all of the listed NEGATIVE stereotypes that are placed on black women and doubled down on it saying that it’s a “preference”. They have this segment called Womanizer Wednesday in which a person asked what they think about a particular black dating app and they immediately stated that they don’t “dabble in the dark” and then went on a rant grouping black women in these negative stereotypes. Unprovoked. THAT is the issue. Akaash is correct, people are looking at the surface level but the issue is the mentality. The fact that these 2 black men are comfortable getting on a podcast and showing other young men how they disrespect their OWN race of black women by using stereotypes rooted in white supremacy, is very damaging to the culture. And ultimately, can make not only black men but also other races, look at black women in a negative light before even getting to know them (which is already an issue in our society)

And regarding Akaash, there is a lot of behavior that we do not accept in modern-day society that was once considered "cultural." "Values" do not have a skin color and unless there is a religious component (I do not believe Akaash is very religious), citing "culture" as the reason for marrying in one's race is pretty weak. We live in a world of hypocrites. Most people discriminate based on race. They just do it in reverse and only marry in their own race. And "culture" usually has nothing to do with it. This is the best and most valid critique on Fresh and Fit I've ever seen. They were calling Fresh and Fit childish because their veiw point on the world is super black and white and thats pure facts. The reason why Akaash and Andrew weren't convinced that they weren't gonna hold on to their beliefs 10 years from now but still agreed on the points they gave is because they know that these are phases a lot of people go through. Your at one extreme where you are naive, you make a mistake and then you go to the complete opposite end of the spectrum where F&F are. This end of the spectrum is super defensive, you cover your tracks that are based in absolute pure fact and logic in order to never make the mistakes you previously made. Its kind of like a villians origin story where they live one way in complete trust that theyre doing the right thing only for something devastating to happen to them making them go to another extreme way of living, convincing themselves with logic that this way is the best way and eveyone else around them is wrong. This way of living is never sustainable, however it is understandable which is why the host agreed with a lot of their points. This why we can often sympathise with the villain, lol some people say Thanos was right but its not like they actually want to kill half the universe thats an extreme way of thinking. Akaash and Andrew may be coming from a point beyond F&F where they've been naive, they've been super defensive thinking theyre never gonna be any other way, then realising that that isn't a sustainable way to think and you can be in love, however still understand the negatives that can happen. The best of both worlds. This is why F&F are seen as childish, they haven't grown to the point where they see that in the grand scheme of things that yeah this might be the best way to get women to be on your programe but is it really worth all the manipulation and tactics, you would much rather have something more natural and real at the end of the day. This pod was amazing I cant lie, two different view points who have valid arguments but I'd say Andrews and Akaash's were a lot more balanced and experienced in theirs. Less black and white.

I find it very telling that people who call Akaash or give him props for challenging FnF are usually ones that consumes politically correct content and feels like being a white knight. All this over 2 grown ass men just having preferences for dating like it's the biggest crime after murder. By the way, it's racist for these 2 guys to not want to date black women, but it's not racist for Akaash to not want to date them? For what? Racial purity? In the modern day, isn't that racist?

Idk why Flagrant has a problem with a man having preferences. Men attacking men for this is how you end up down the path that men aren't allowed to prefer a 140 pound girl to a 600 pound girl, which is ridiculous AND that's a much more shallow example of preferences. These men are speaking in generalities. In general the women they're talking about don't possess the much more important traits to them than something like weight for instance. We are heading down the path that you aren't allowed to say that you don't prefer 600 pound women, which will only allow women to continue to be more and more delusional about what men want and look for. I'm so pissed about what is going on with society telling women fat is beautiful, because it has shrunken the pool of women I find attractive down DRASTICALLY, sorry not sorry

@@manuuu1127 I understand that part. But then as a human being, Akaash excludes more human beings. That is more self loathing than just a specific race. Because we are human beings first my friend, not just the color of our skin. And I'm saying this as a black man
