I am always amazed at the range and selection of diecast model available in store in Europe. Here in Australia our big retailers are lucky to have just a selection all in a 3 metre length on one gondola. Matchbox comes and goes. Hot wheels is the main feature. Majorette May have 1 or 2 hooks. No Solido of any other brands. Collectors can be found every morning waiting for store to open and race to the section in case new stock has been opened.

What state of Australia are you in ? I'm in Sydney, and I find Big W is the best for HW & MBX; usually on sale for $2. Woolies in my area get 2 or 3 boxes of MBX Powergrabs every month or so. For Majorette, I go to Myers. Reject shop can be hit or miss.

@@redtrux..000..FIRE. I’m in SA. Yes Big W has the best selection for HW. Although I don’t go up everyday I have noticed the same groups waiting at the doors for opening. In the past few weeks a smaller supermarket group here called Drakes have started selling HW as the owner of the group also is a collector. I don’t collect purely HW models I collect Mitsubishi models in diecast only I all diecast makers. Currently my collection is just under 2000 models. Considering the range available I diecast brands Australia is left behind for collectors. Over 75% of my collection would be from overseas including Russia which is now closed on eBay. P.S. is So follow you on KZbin.

Hello diecast dude. A little Tip from me if youre looking for a huge variation and diecast section of 1 18, 1 24 and 1 43 diecast cars you should fo to the motorworld in cologne germany, not very far from the netherlands.

Hey Dude went there also this week and saw the new wall Majorette also in the hope to find the trucks from Majorette .. but nope. Do you knwo in the neighbourhood where you have a shop with any assortiment of Majorette trucks. I'm looking espcially after the Maersk one with the blue colours ... But untill now only the red one founded with grey container 😕
