Personally I prefer to write melodies around vocals.if I'm going to work with a vocalist you could try using an acapella and then delete it before sending it to the singer.

Hey man. How do you deal with time stretching loopcloud vocals that have spaces before and after the actual vocal samples? That are all over the place and almost impossible to use

I've not really encountered that. But just figure out the tempo and the play around with the start point of the sample. Or you could just try dragging each word around with the warp markers, but you'll probably get better results from the other method.

@@dilbydj some samples are never 2,4,8,etc bars. They even loop back to the start before playing the whole sample whilst synced to the DAW.

@@ELLIOT8209 the just extend or shorten the loop brace to be the length you want. If a loop is 7 bars long but you want it to loop every 8 bars just make the loop 8 bars but keep the timing the same, so you will essentially have a bar of silence at the end.
