another great video. how has the cows adjusted to the free stall barn? did you have to sell many cows. I know from dairy farming myself that many tie stall cows don't work in a free stall, also how many are you milking these days?

You know we were really lucky. Two cows ended up going because their crampiness just didnt fit in the free stall. And then we've shipped one other because the robot and her udder didn't get along (her foot on the robot arm didn't help matters). So overall....the transition was actually really good.

How are the jersey in a barn sort of meant for the size of a Holstein

They do pretty well. Only issue would be more manure in a stall if they hang out too long, because they are so much further ahead laying against the brisket bar. We're not crowded though so everyone ignores that stall if it happens between us raking stalls.
