We went a couple of years ago, and my son who was 8 at the time got chosen during the ceremony. I was so happy. I would have gone through it 50 times if I had to, to let him get chosen. It was a highlight of his day, and we bought the wand that choose him.

Smaller movements with the wand people! Some people dislike how hard it is to use the wands, I love it! It makes it a fun challenge, like you are learning how to be a Wizard!

We did this a few years ago in florida and the cast member realized my kids were siblings and had them both get chosen. Seriously one of the most fun memories from our vacation.

We just went to universal for first time in 14 years last month and this reminds me of how we reacted to everything! I wasn’t impressed with any rides really, but all the Harry Potter stuff is great! That ride made me a bit nauseous as well! And I’m usually ok. After a day of simulators, I needed a break. We also got annual passes for like 10$ more than a day ticket so we will probably go back for halloweeen for sure.

The wands actually take some skill to use. The biggest mistake is doing large movements. Small and tight movements is proper want usage and etiquette.

OK, we have AP to both Universal and DL and I have to say... Universal isn't as magical other than Hogwarts. No history or any driving factors to carry a Vlog. You guys gave it a good shot though. We miss Ian too.
