You could watch a guide/join a course (tharunspeaks editing course is quite good) or you could just learn as you edit, this is also good. Just decide on a software to start editing with and whenever you want to do something search up how to do that. Example you want to merge two clips so search it up and learn it. Next you want to add text so search it up and learn and continue like that learning more and more.
