Well actually. From our perspective, we know ace is a good guy. But ace is a pirate, no matter how you look at it. They don't know ace like we do and Ace is the son of the pirate king and destroying ships before whitebeard got him. So technically he is not a "good" person. There is no reason for other marines to not catch him. The only one going overboard is akainu with his absolute justice

I know how Luffy feels. I was really depressed and quit my job and my biological sister who was also adopted with me was concerned I would try to self delete cuz I've tried before. She was my jinbei and less than 48 hours later she passed away of organ failure and was found on a sidewalk. I got the call and I told my roommate what happened. She knew I was at my point of wanting to end it and I got that call. I sat in a messed up state for about 40 days. I woke up and rewatched every episode of one piece during that time. I silently sobbed and cooked from my one piece cookbook and did the dishes for my roommates everyday and barely said a word. The morning I got caught back up in the manga it was the morning release on that legendary chapter that makes everyone joyful and happy. Luffy literally made me smile again. God bless you Luffy
