I’m a dad and I have three boys and always cut their hair. Until this video my hair cutting was less than mediocre. I pull this video up every time I cut their hair and it almost always turns out great! I am so thankful you made this video! And so are my boys!

Same here sir. 3 wild boys. And after a lady told me if I took my kids to get there cuts more often they'd be easier to deal with like I'm not trying enough lol. So far I haven't had to buzz it thanks to this vid. Good luck and God speed 😃

In my opinion fading downward is a skill and is much harder than fading upward. Also when fading upward you just have to be careful to not create such a hard guideline so that you blend it, remember you want your fade to look blurry not sectioned/separated. I also learned too that having the right type of equipment is really night and day when it comes to the outcome of a good haircut. Also when you are blending make sure you are using the C motion so you are not cutting too deep into the next guideline. I too started this new hobby during quarantine for my nephew and to check it off of the New Years resolution list. It started out of necessity but soon became a passion.

Just want to say thank you man. I’ve been watching you and other Tubers for a while and have learned to trim my own wig pretty alright. Today however, I gave my first haircut to none other than my brave nephew. It’s a different ball game cutting some else. I was nervous cause my sister was hawking me all the way haha but it came out pretty decent. It definitely had room room for improvement and thanks to your video I see now where those improvements are needed. I am 31 and am pondering on becoming a barber. I want to do it because I find it fun to cut hair but more importantly I want to do it to honor my little brother who passed away on this very day a year ago. He was very good and skilled and wanted him to go to barber school to go legit. Unfortunately bad circumstances and drugs took him away from us. I tell you this because you are amongst few of the barbers he admired on KZbin. He learned how to cut very clean thanks to guys like you. These videos you guys make man have a big impact on the youngsters. It inspires them to want to do something positive with their lives. Again, just want to say thank you brother. Keep on being a blessing.

Nice video! Dope cut.! Can u make a video talking more about to handle cowlicks.? My boys have at least 5 or more and it’s tough learning how to move around them. Thxxx
