Hey Lindsay, i'm also attending Towson this fall as a freshman. How did you get that "social media on campus job" even before you started school. I know about handshake but i dont really see towson owned jobs on there. Can you please enlighten me more. Also to be frank, do you think i'll be at disadvantage on handshake because i've never worked a job? Thanks.

I suggest getting a gimbal for vlogging because the camera shakes so much. I’m usually fine with shaky footage (even though i’m a filmmaker) but this is just too much. I feel like I’m watching a worldstar fight video. The gimbal will stabilize the footage.

The reason why I was searching for move in day videos was to know how anyone would carry so much of stuff to college. But all of you guys move in with a car. But this august I need to travel 3500 miles to go to college. I'll must be travelling in a flight. How in the world would I carry so much of stuff in a flight? Flights have luggage weight limits. Asking my family to mail me would be as expensive as asking them to carry the stuff by a second trip due to import and export duties. I wanna save some bucks here as I am on a budget. Please get me some ideas on how you guys would have done it if you were in the same situation.

In America do you have to use your own money to pay tuition before you actually start or do you guys get a loan and pay the loan back later when you start working. Btw I'm from London

Thats so cool that your from London! So here we pay our tuition over the summer before school starts. We fill out what we call FAFSA, which is a form of financial aid who will offer grants and loans based on your income, as well as if you get an institutional grant. Once you accept grants, that money gets taken out of your bill and that is when you decide what loans you are going to take if you need to. If you take out loans it will be taken out of your bill however you have 6 months I believe after you graduate college to start paying back your loans. If you have the money stored away somewhere you can simply pay your tuition without any loans. SO for my first year at least I am lucky enough to not have to take out any loans so we just payed my tuition! xoxo

AustralianPie ! tuition varies between different colleges (I think the cheapest I've seen is like $7000 per year and the most I've seen was about $40,000 per year), but the average is $15,000 per year

I met my first roommate at TU4U and requested her for first semester. Second semester I "went" random because my first roommate changed rooms over winter break, and I got a new random roommate second sem, and she is awesome, so both work its definitely just personal preference!

I honestly have no idea, I feel like its not aloud because you would have to remove the schools mattress that comes with the dorm and put it somewhere and schools can be very picky about their property but i am not positive!

Lemon Toof for most schools (probably all) you either choose a random roommate (your school will match y’all) or tell the school who you want to room with before classes start or room alone (but that costs more). you usually get enough time to coordinate stuff and get to know each other.

A lot of ppl join the FB group for their schools class and post looking for a roommate. My 2nd semester I got a random roommate cuz my other one moved out so it’s totally personal preference! You can request or go random!

If you are a commuter you can have a car but if you live on campus I believe you can't until you have 30 credits, with a few exceptions. TU is a big commuter school so you might be able to have some wiggle room but some schools are very strict about Freshman having cars!
