And I started playing on the .53 update when the game was still good I’ve prob put 100 hours in the game since they ruined it with this new ass engine lol why fix something that was never broke instead of polishing the amazing game they had they switched engines and ruined the game I’ve played maybe 100 hours of this shit game now I still love it but they need to mod servers to play like the old dayz the good dayz u all fell in love with frankieonpcin1080p dayz and jackfrags dayz not this stupid shit we got wtf

I am wondering if that guy aiming up was an admin who had been using VPPAdmin Tools to fly around the map. When I use my tools a lot in that way, it makes me aim at the sky weirdly.

One of my favorite times soloing was during this server where a clan held alot of power and would be seen driving around and would look for players to rob (i knew they were all together cause of the discord for the server), after awhile on this server i found their base and waited till it looked like everyone logged off or left the base for stuff, seeing my chance i ran in and found my way into the outer layer of their base but found no way into their main part, but it had all their vehicles, so i stole their spark plugs from their vehicles and any spares i found in tents or crates, then booked it out of there, making a clean get away, i still think about what their reaction was, if they had more spark plugs than i just gave them a slight hiccup, but if what i took was trully their main supply and they only have 2 or 3 left for their 16 plus vehicles in their base that would be hilarous

I only play solo. I believe a solo is more dangerous than a group, since im less easily spotted, dont have to share loot and needing to do everything myself makes me better and better at the game

i play mostly solo now but over the years ive played as a duo and squad and they are all fun. Too big of a squad can get confusing and call outs can be unclear at times, solo you are going up against duos and squads so it can be quite challenging. Duo might be the best way to play especially if its a friend youve known before DayZ but ive played as duo and squads with people ive met online during my solo adventures and it was always a great experience. Been playing since 2012.

I put 660hrs into dayz. Chilled with ppl in game but not for long. I stay solo. Why do i feel like being a solo player in dayz is like being a mythological creature. Us solos are people! Once you embrace the style it might even be easier. Nobody to try an keep safe or share with. Less noise an harder to spot. The best part!!! Just, endless, food... ha.. ha ha..

Most people squad up. I play primarily as a solo. There is always one more... The other solos are always hiding in a bush. No matter what, you'll die; higher probability of it being a cheater if you're on PC official. Doesn't matter how you play, just have fun.

George, I cant believe that after all those hours in DayZ you still don't know how to melee-hunt domesticated animals! :) If you can't corner/get animal stuck somewhere, then what you do is hit it once with a strong attack, then let the animal run away, dont chase it and it will stop ca. 5-10 meters away from you and calm down, so that you can approach and hit the animal again. Important note is to use a normal attack and not a strong one (except for the first strike) because an animal start's running away as soon as an attack is initiated and you will not have time to complete your strong attack. That way you can relatively easy hunt domesticated animals in DayZ with a melee weapon without having to chase them all over the map. :)

George, after all the hours playing this game you still haven't cottoned on that you can easily kill a cow with punches, when you hit a cow,pig,sheep,chicken or goat and you don't chase it, it stops running after less than ten steps, then you can walk up to it and hit again then don't chase it goes another ten steps and you repeat, easy peesy

heres a tip for the tippers, when you melee an animal crouch sprint to them and once you hit them just stand still and dont chase they will stop running away after like 10 meters. then just crouch sprint to them hit them again and do the same. as long as you chase them they will just run the whole time.

Yeah freshspawns go to the same spawnpoint every couple minutes now so they probably joined at the same time not realizing they were supposed to spawn near each other

@George--when hunting animals like goats or pigs or cows, if you lie down immediately after swinging at them or shooting at them, they stop running making it easier to catch up to hit them again. I'm glad you got him in the end with the pipe wrench, but sad you didn't get to enjoy all the steaks. ;)
