I've had one of those small portable (single room) A/C/heat units that has 2 hoses that go to the window (vent heat/cold & pull fresh air simultaneously) for over 20 years now. Hasn't been used in over 10 years when house A/C went out and our Lab(dog) was overheating one summer and we weren't ready for him to "go" just yet, so it got pulled out of storage for a few days so Carson(lab) could be relieved of his heavy panting & anxiety.

What a panic this must have been for you; I can see it happening. What a fantastic parent you are to Carson. The best ever. I so envy people with dogs. I had a few and they are a gigantic responsibility that I am not able to maintain now. I have cats instead. I don't have to get up in the middle of the night for a cat and I can always leave food in the bowl. Not with a dog. I still love dogs. Take care Phrozen, nice chat.

@corners23251 I miss him dearly. He got me through some pretty rough times in my 20s. I unfortunately am no longer able to have a pet around since I can barely take care myself anymore and it just wouldn't be fair to put another being through my misery.

Roof Cover 😂 🎉 More like Roof Peeler! That thing will rip right off in a strong storm including anything it’s attached too. Let’s not mention all the random holes scattered around the roof! 😂

The roof cover . To set it up you have to drill holes in your roof to set up some type of poles device. Not all roofs are just straight gable there's dormers valleys overhangs etc. So you would be damaging your roof with all the screws they put in and I didn't see any caulking or any sealant put down before they screwed that thing to the roof. So in a storm or just a regular spring rain with some wind your roof is going to leak and in a gust of wind that tarp will rip . I'm a roofer and I don't think it will work. You're just asking for trouble if you have that installed on your roof. That's my professional advice.
@PhrozenCPU2 ай бұрын
I was thinking the same thing, but I thought that tarp was to be used for "hole in roof" situations only, not just bc.

I believe they said it was for a quick, sturdy & temporary solution for roof damage till roofers could have time to repair or replace the roof.

daaamn, as i saw it i stoped and came to look for this comment...how dumb was that?😂 i do stageing and in a windy/stormy situation that would be the last thing you want to have screwed to your roof😂

@@lovienyoutube420 yeah, I'm pretty sure the narrator got the story wrong there because who would want to put holes in the roof for a cover that has got to be less durable than the decades-long lasting roof?

Insinkerator was invented by 1958. That is the year my parents bought the home I lived in, for the 1st 11 years of my life. It even ground up bones. My job was washing dishes, which began on my 5th birthday, standing on a chair for the next 2 years. I had one, until I moved into the country, and I now have other ways of getting rid of everything except bones.

The one I want/need is the last one! I need to lay that in my barn so it won't become a bog every time it decides to rain all day! The horses won't be standing in hock deep mud in their stalls and I won't have to wear hip waders to go feed them. (the horses do NOT stay in there all day, only to feed so they don't run each other off or steal feed from each other.) Edit: Never mind. At a cost of $175 for 40 sf, I might as well pour concrete! One stall is 144 sf and I have 5 of them plus the 12' by 36' alley way. It would cost me over 5K to do the barn. Nope.
