The trouble with using Denji in a rap battle is that he's a bit *too* easy to roast, so much so that you can see what kind of shit his opponent is going to talk from miles away. I'd honestly like to see him trade verses with Komaeda, who's also had a rotten life and kind of has the same issue. That said, this is a banger rap battle and the video is just so much fun to watch.

Ashes life isn't exactly rosey either. He had to lop off his hand and kill his sister, friends, and girlfriend while they begged him to stop. His hometown thought he was a psycho for a long time, and he's constantly getting dragged back into the frey to fend off hordes of nightmare monsters whether he wants to or not, often getting the daylights pounded out of him in the process. I think he's close enough to Denjis level in terms of sucky lifestyles.

I already knew it was a great battle, but the visuals went absolutely crazy, firing on all cylinders. I get hyped just talking about it. Also, Ash won so much more than I remembered from just the audio, this man was cooking in Hell, don't give Jesus the wheel. I heard a lot of "You got no friends, no bread, no kills, you're a dumb perv" etc. but with the the extra insight of the video, it really feels like he was firing a lot more. Also, Ash delivering his medieval speech in fast forward is total meme material.
