Yes i agree when i change my strings i get some buzz , i don't mind it because it will go away after some use.. I had a fender squier with fret buzz i had to shave the frets from the 12th to the 21 fret to even them out in that area plays great now! cool video Matt!!!

Higher gauge = less movement = lower action. Ps: Where can I buy 9.5 set of strings. I'll use them for E standard on 25.5 inch scale guitar. I play 10's, tried 9's and they are too slinky for me so 9.5 should be okay.
@aek40185 жыл бұрын
yeah, good points. my guitars buzz all over the place, but nothing sounds wrong in the speakers. no fucks given ;) i still prefer to have lower action and lots of buzz rather than struggling to play with the strings high. btw, Hetfields guitars buzz like crazy, just listen to the middle section of MoP or Sandman intro :)

I've been setting my Les Paul for 5 days because of fret buzz. So THANKS for sharing!

Yeah dude and check it out. Try this: get your guitar, plug in, put it on clean and you'll see it doesn't come through (Basically if it's not stopping the string from resonating or it does just a bit it's really alright). I have both an les paul and an sg and the sg has really big fret buzz but it doesn't go through the amp. If you really want it to go away dress your frets, check the nut for wear and/or adjust the truss rod a bit. But most of the time is no biggie. I see the strings moving like crazy on Angus Young, Tom Morello's guitar while they smash it with the pick and the guitar sounds perfect on the amp. I've been trying for 2 months to make it go away completely but it's really not a problem. Glad I discovered this video :)).

I have heard this buzzing that you say not to worry about in Hetfield’s clean tone live, something new learnt because I always thought it was because of action being too low! 👍🏼
@Timbo66694 жыл бұрын
If the high bend notes 'choke out', then its nothing to worry about necessarily. It could be just your action being too low on the treble strings.
@wildchild51574 жыл бұрын
I'm struggling with string buzz but I've tried every setting I can and I had hoped I'd find something about string gauge and how you pick the string, which sometimes cause unavoidable buzzing. Would have been helpful

I think I have an irregular buzzing problem. Is there anything that can be done if you get buzzing not during the note, but a buzz afterwards, when you release the note? (e.g lifting the fretting hand off the string).
@mikewallace91935 жыл бұрын
Fret buzz can be an intonation problem or a truss rod issue, or a bridge issue, or a nut issue, or just the sound of your woman's voice being drowned out by your amp... Its worse if the frets are not level, but still easy enough to fix. The trick is not fixing it until you know whether or not it is a high fret, or a maladjusted truss rod, or a wonky bridge, or just nice, low buttery action and new strings. Mine need some finger grease, never mind where that came from..., to dial into low and quiet. Its harder with a tremolo.

I would love some help: I have a blackstar id 30 TVP and today i hooked it up to my pc and started playing some GOJIRA on discord, however after a while I downloaded the blackstar insider software and for some reason my computer no longer picks up any sound from the guitar.. It does detect the Blackstar Digital Output but still no sound comes out.. Thanks in advance to anyone who might help.

Or both compare identical settings and then change the TVP however to get it to match close as possible. Nobody has respect for the TVP amps but I think you could get it pretty close?
